    Hi all,

I am a long time lurker and first time poster. I am looking to buy my first Swiss watch for everyday wear (my current only watch is an SKX007), and have fallen for vintage Omegas, specifically the Seamaster 30 cal.286 and watches that use the cal.30T2.

I am looking at the following watch that the seller states is from the 1940s and uses the Omega cal.30T2. He gives the serial number as 10.466.988, but I am having difficulty locating the watch anywhere on Omega's database, and on the internet for that matter.

Could anyone please help identify the watch, and provide advice on whether the watch is genuine/original parts? Thank you in advance for your expertise and advice!

It is a tiny watch with badly damaged dial - so my advice: save your money for a better example!
