Hey OF - would like to ask for your help in identifying a watch that was handed down to me. I believe it to be authentic as it was serviced by Omega about 8 years ago without issue (they also replaced the strap).

Any info would greatly help. Thanks!

Thanks. This is very helpful!

I find it weird that rotating the crown moves the hour hand and not the minute (then again it might need servicing again).

The idea is that you can change time-zone quickly without disturbing the minute & seconds. If the 1332 works like a 1342, which I think it does, press the button above the crown quickly to advance the seconds hand by two seconds. Press & hold for 5 seconds, release and quickly press again, now the seconds advances quickly and takes the minutes with it.

Thanks!! I didn't realize this at all (clearly). Since the battery is dead, I'll have to try and figure our the base way to replace it. I wonder how hard it is to pop open the case back and close it properly ...

I let a professional with the right tools do it for my 1342 Seamaster. New battery less than a year ago cost me £15 (GBP) inc fitting.

Yes, at that price it's a no-brainer to get it done professionally. Thanks for all your help 👍
