help identify this Eterna Super Kontiki ?

Hi ,
I am interested in buying this watch but both the seller and i don’t know what is this dial variation which we couldn’t find online .
The dial has the Super-Kontiki in the same line and DIVER under it .
I would appreciate your help .

I forgot to mention but it is the original Gay Freres bracelet dated to 3/69 . but its missing the end links .

Try as I might, I can't find a single other example. It is a bit strange that the font of "diver" is so different from the other lettering, but this happens all the time when there's any collaboration on a piece. Does the caseback have any helpful info?

The case back is very worn but i didn’t notice anything unusual on it .
btw the watch is in Israel and many of these Eterna's in Israel were military but on this one there isn’t IDF markings .

Yeah, no help there. My £.02, as a long-time fan of Eternas, is to pass on this one. It's super beat-up (esp. the bezel and the caseback), and unless the price is very, very low, you're best off waiting on a model that's received less abuse and doesn't have such atypical dial markings.

Yeah, no help there. My £.02, as a long-time fan of Eternas, is to pass on this one. It's super beat-up (esp. the bezel and the caseback), and unless the price is very, very low, you're best off waiting on a model that's received less abuse and doesn't have such atypical dial markings.
well at first this watch was posted of facebook marketplace for 1000usd , and i reached to the seller and i told her the watch is worth more and i would like to give a reasonable offer for it .
I thought that it could’ve been a nice project , plus the dial looks nice .

Perhaps I’m wrong, but I was under the impression it was an obvious tell the dial was relumed when the numerals were missing. The 12, 6, and 9 hour markers should have numerals.

I did saw a couple online without the numbers but they could’ve been also relumed .
the most reasonable explanation is that this is a redial , but on the other hand the fonts looks right to me .

There are plenty online without numerals, but I personally wouldn’t view any of those as benchmark examples. The fact remains that these watches should have numerals, and any example that doesn’t have them, is a watch I wouldn’t consider any further.

Spot on. You do see watches that were in active military use over significant periods getting minor dial/lume revisions with no reduction in value or collectability (e.g. Lemania HS9 variants). On the contrary, it often increases their appeal by adding to the character and authenticity of the piece. But in this instance, a full relume w/out the numerals does seem to be more of an issue.

IDF markings on the case back are usually limited to issues given to S'13 unit members. The only way to have some limited certainty is to have the the Omega extract that says Delivered to Israel and/or delivered to Israeli Defense Force. Those marked were commonly given out to the Shayatet units on graduation and other unit graduations - so not always marked. Often there will just be the member's number (often did it themselves). Here is a super rare dot bezel with an extract that says delivered to the Israeli Defense Force and no case back markings. Only one owner prior to myself and a career IDF member now retired.
