Does this watch have a reference number? It looks as if it may be all original, what do the experts think?

From the serial number it is pre 1939

Under the balance I can just make out 26.5 SOB and ?2

The movement fits into the case back like a glove

It ran for 38 hours and gained less than 2 mins

Thanks in advance for your help

Worthwhile asking for an extract. It looks original, down to the buckle.

Experts will soon chime in...

Never understood the association luminous dial - non luminous hands...

And from my perspective, never saw that "Swiss made" disposition.

Anyway, that movement looks in terrific condition

I found this right towards the end of the Omega site, It certainly looks the same. Any ideas if the MI prefix means anything?

Of course it means something…. if only we knew what! It generally refers to the case material and perhaps more. Never have found a reference to what all of the codes mean.

I think so too. I think they would have been like the hands in my avatar watch.
