Hello all

If I may tap into the huge knowledge pool in the forum - I've recently acquired this beautiful 1911-12 Omega pocket watch from Ebay but am struggling to find ANY reference online to this movement.

I've serviced it and gotten it back to running. The serial number under the dial is 3753500. The movement is the spitting image of a caliber 19 but measures ~34.5mm (15.5 lignes) instead of 42.8mm (19 lignes).

The case is stamped by Omega with the serial 4715508 as well as a 9 and an interesting looking hallmark that I can't find anything about.

I would love to know more about the watch since it's my first Omega and was a pleasure to work on.

Apologies in advance for the criminal looking pictures.

Movement looks to be a caliber 15''' 7 or 17 P (can't see if they are jewels or bushes in the train wheels).
Nice Niello case but I can't make out the makers mark. B & ???

Thank you for your reply Jim. Everything is jewelled except for the center wheel it seems.

Today with some more light, I managed to get this shot of the mark. It seems to say B&Fre. A possible reference to Louis Brandt & Frère (later Omega)?

I suspect you're on the mark 😉.

Nice watch and a shame about the chip on the subdial, but it can be repaired.
