I think this 2852 constellation had a tad longer gold seconds hand , which led me to believe that it was replaced in some point. I want to find the correct hands for this one. Does anyone had one or any link from ebay?

To be honest, I would speculate that the hour and minute hands are ok, and if anything the sweep hand is longer than the original.

Yep.... The second hand is too long. Do you know any link to buy the correct one? Or do you have a spare?

Very nice watch....and Dibs if that mis-matched seconds hand begins to annoy you too much 😉

It is definitely too long and IME quite a PITA sourcing one of the correct length.

It’s surprising how many of these watches are out there and approximately zero aftermarket hands being produced for them.
Any parts suppliers listening?

The minute hand was hurt in some accident...

I hadn't seen that....wouldn't surprise me if that same accident is what put the original seconds hand permanently out of commission!

Yeah... Previous owner decided to go to some sketchy guy to fix it... Idk how to fix it... Should I file it then polish it to fix the look?

They may be chromium plated, and messing around with them is probably just going to make things worse. Most likely they don't look too bad to the naked eye.

No they aren't... Mostly are still solid gold around the era, especially this kind of gilt dial. Tried some with the seamaster before, 2577 and 2846, they're solid gold.
Could anyone please give an insight on how long omega used solid metal as the hands/index until they changed into plated?

Apologies, from the photos, I didn't realize that they were gold, or even gold-colored.

This one is...
Before
After

See the difference between the before and after picture...
FYI, The watch indexes and the hands are in yellow gold, as I see it in metal. Idk why my phone's took the indexes in warmer tones than the hands does in yellow tones...
Though all in all it looks stunning in metal as the indexea sparkles

Steel hands? 😕
That one is steel hand, I polished it by hand manually carefully. Both the hands and the indexes got the same treatment.
