·Hello fellow Omega enthusiasts!
It is my first time considering buying a vintage Omega piece. I've scoured the depths of eBay, participated in several biddings (which I've lost) and seen and investigated about countless items. I've come to the conclusion that it might be better to buy the watch straight up without going into the whole bidding culture. That being said, I'm still sceptic of items and sellers so I decided to submit to somebody's expertise to see if any of the ones I have seen are worth it or not.
I'm attaching some photos of
1. A 1962 automatic (ref number: 121.002) selling at $695
2. A Omega DeVille (ref number: 166.0161) selling at $450
I know these are wildly different but I just wanna get a sense of this are originals and authentic and not fakes.
In any case, I appreciate greatly any help or answer I can get. I can also attach more photos if need be (these are both listed on eBay)
Regards,
