Is the watch serviced ? That type of dial wear could have been caused, in the past, by some water/humidity. I'm sure that it's fine now but keep that in mind and keep the watch out of reach of humidity and don't try to "clean" it as you'll make it worse. (basically try not to get the dial to get more damanged; in its stage it'll be a bit more sensitive to the elements than one that has had no damage to the paint/lacquer)
And get a nice genuine crown for it... And let us know whether the crystal is genuine or not. Non-genuine crystals can be bad for vintage Omegas in particular. (they often don't fit as they should with the case)[/QUOTE
