Hi, it might be my eyes, but picures are not sharp enough to decide if the dial is original or a (good) refinish.
But - case reference is correct, caliber is correct, serialnumber is OK, crown seems OK. The price is in the high end for this mode, in my opinion.

After a year here on the forum and a lot of advise - Don't you think you should start evaluating yourself?

If you write here what you found out yourself -even it should be not very much- we could start a discussion about the watch 😉

Lots of times one just wants another set of eyes on a watch. I know I do from time to time.

If that is the case I would like to apologize!

hi, one thing I would like to know if these hands are correct, also the seller said the dial is original, but seems too perfect ,could it be a redial?
regards

I clicked on your link and the pics are much clearer.
It’s a lovely example of a gold capped Connie.
The dial is original, the case has lovely sharp edges and the medallion is crisp. (Note: there are some engraved numbers visible on the case back if that bothers you).
My only reservation would be the price as €2000 is on the high side. €1500 ish would be better.
As people say though find another one..

Edit: I forgot to mention, the box has some value if included, maybe around €150. It’s not the correct box for this ref though - it’s earlier.

Well it's not a grail as the seller claims but I was just about to post almost exactly what @Noddyman said above.
Very nice no-date dogleg
Good case for a gold cap watch
Lovely dial
Too expensive by about £500 (but try and find another)
I also think the box is possibly too early and is missing the all important (impossible to find) presentation tray. (so to me is worth very little)

If it had been serviced I would have been happier, as the movt is a little grubby and shows some signs of rotor rub.
If this is what you have really been looking for, try to do a deal for at least the price of a proper service and pull the trigger.

slightly better pics for posterity

For 2k E I would hunt for a solid gold piece....even if I have to add a little.

I agree a gold dogleg would be very nice to have but a good condition solid gold pie pan dogleg no-date would cost you more than a little more (probably something like nearly twice as much)

Here's an ok 14k date version advertised on TRF recently - a nice dial but overpriced at $4450 in my eyes given the soft lugs - but you get the idea

You are right and box is for calendar Connie so its not correct for this model

Sorry for the off topic question but what does the letter T after the word MADE signify here? Is it specific to the 167.005 reference number or to a particular country where the watch has been assembled?

This one cost me less than €2K:

Hard to fault, but I ended up returning it.

Should have flipped it here, it would seem 😉

I don't really know. Just felt underwhelming, I guess.

Discovering vintage Certinas has made a lot of watches feel that way 😁

Btw, it was in a completely open auction on one of the most published auction houses in the country.

I have to confess, I have this one, bequeathed from one of our long-standing members, and I am unlikely to ever part with it.
