Help! Date Change in Forbidden Time/Danger Zone - Constellation Co-Axial Master Chronometer Cal 8700

I have a constellation co-axial master chronometer 29mm (purchased from Omega last year). I have heard about the 9pm-3am/8pm-2am/10pm-2am “forbidden time/danger zone” and have always been cautious with it. However, this morning (local time ~9:15am), I adjusted the date - moved it forward for one day as the watch stopped while I traveled without it last weekend, and only to realize it was actually set to 9:15pm when the manual date change happened 🙁

Because it was a special and big purchase only a year ago, I am very concerned about the potential damage and regret not thinking more thoroughly before I did the change. Since then I have tested the date function many times by using the manual hand adjustment via crown position 3 or changing date with the fast date set via crown position 2 while the time/hand is set to 5/6 position (outside of the forbidden time range).
All 31 dates change around midnight and everything seems to be okay so far. However, my OCD is overwhelming and I searched online but have seen very few discussions or instructions for caliber 8700. I am looking for tips and guidance on how serious this damage could be and whether I need to be concerned (also how I can check/confirm without officially ordering a service). Any experience you can share I would really appreciate. Thank you!

The watch is fine. Wear it without worry.

9pm is a pretty conservative cutoff. You were well outside the window when the date change is actually happening. Nothing to worry about.

As others have said, you should be fine.

By the way, a watchmaker taught me to do the following when setting the date: set the hour hand to 6, then set the date one day before the date you intend to set it to (e.g. if it’s the 18th, set it to the 17th). Then, move the hands forward til it goes past midnight, which rolls the date wheel forward onto the proper date, and you now know if you’re setting your hour hand to AM or PM.

It is a bit time consuming, but has never failed me. 👍
