Help Authenticate and value this watch

Hello Omega Forum Community,

I recently acquired an Omega De Ville with the serial number 45266592, which I believe dates back to around 1982-1983. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in confirming the authenticity of this watch.

I've attached photos of the watch, including the movement and the serial number. Could anyone provide insights into whether this model and serial number align with a genuine Omega De Ville from that period? Any information about the model, movement, or any details I should look out for would be extremely helpful.

Thank you in advance for your expertise!

Best regards,
Clément

Legit for only 50 USD ?🤔 or you mean 500
$50-100, quartz of this era are not really popular or in demand, they also have moments that are not the best and quality is below that of Omega watches made before or since that 70s / 80s era.

You wish 😀 but possibly 200 USD in good condition which, from your photos, yours doesn’t seem to be.

Have a look on eBay sold items for your reference.

It's a quartz Omega from the dark age of Omega.

Although the quartz movements were well built, they were overtaken by the quartz boom where much cheaper movements became available and overtook Omega in the quartz race.

BTW, your battery looks to be installed incorrectly (upside down).

The battery is installed correctly.
You're quite right Ashton 👍.
99% of Omega quartz movements have the + upwards.
Cal 1377 apparently didn't want to be a conformist.

No real value. Quartz Omega in a dated style, in a plated case in mediocre condition.
