Hi, I am a newbie. I am trying to find out if these two watches are fakes. My gut says yes. Any help is welcome.

 

Hello @glaze68 I hope you don't mind me making a suggestion. It's nice that you've set up an avatar. (They like that here.) But I think you may get a better response if you give a bit of background about the watches and your interest in them. (They like that kind of thing here. )

I have a friend who inherited these watches. She thought these were worth a lot on money. I told her I thought they were fake but would try and find out for her. I use to have an estate/antique store in Toronto so she was looking for me for so guidance.

 

These are not watches made by Omega, but they might be solid gold, ya never know. I'd ttake them to a gold buyer who will put them on a scale and see what he offers you for them. They are both ugly and not collectable so take whatever the gold buyer offers you. You might be able to buy lunch with what he pays you !!!

 

Ya never know .... it say 18K on the back !!!!!
