    Hi everyone!

I need your help and advice about a watch I am thinking of buying. Its 37mm but It doesnt have the Golden Kontiki ship on the back case. Not sure if all has that? But its marked eterna inside the case. I dont know if the crown is original.
What Do you think about it, should I buy it?

    Thanks

    Victor

They haven't all had a gold medallion, some have an engraving in the caseback, which I believe I can see in the B grade photo.
It generally looks clean & not abused.
Whether you buy it is up to you & the price, & perhaps other factors.

I believe the dial (and hands probably) has been re-lumed, since one should see "6", "9", and "12" in those markers. There is also something funny about the case-back, since there needs to be a case-number and usually there is a reference number inside. In terms of price, remember that these smaller pieces are not as desirable as the full-size Super Kontikis.

I have actually seen both with Numbers and without. So maybe there is two versions?

well, a little late as the purchase has been made, but...

the thing that stands out to me is the bezel. that case ref is less common than most, and that's not the bezel I've usually seen on them. not really compelling though as eterna used different bezels, so who knows. but the condition is catching my eye. if the picture is accurate, then the case looks like it's seen some life. usually, the bezels on these, definitely on mine, catch a pretty good amount of hell. that bezel looks pretty nice for the amount of wear on that watch. i'm suspicious that it's been replaced.

Yeah your right I Do see that now. What Do you think, should I cancel the deal if I can? Ore is it still worth buying? I can see that they have a different bezel. 1400$ should be a ok I thought.

first, if you like the watch, then nothing else matters. I love my super kon tiki. second, i'd at least take delivery of the watch and check it out. i'm just some random dude on the internet and I could be wrong. I paid a lot more than 1400 for mine, so you got a good deal, but of course there may be a reason for that. if it were me, i'd take delivery and check it out. maybe ask the seller some questions and see where it goes.
