    Hello OFers,

Here I have a tricky problem. I picked up 1503 bor on ebay for my connie piepan, but I found the first link (close to lug) is slightly bigger than lug. (12 side fits but 6 side is a problem.)

How can I fix this? My gut reaction is removing the first link but I’d like to hear your opinion before any action.

    Thanks!!

Not sure if this is what you're talking about, but:

If you're noticing that the end link (between the lugs) has too wide an opening, it's easily remedied. You don't need to remove it from the bracelet, just squeeze it smaller---slowly, carefully, with nylon-jawed pliers. Do this while it's off the watch, and test it after every reduction.

Thanks for the input!! I was trying to grind the side of endlink too... but luckily the endlink fits well after some adjustment.

To avoid further confusion, I added markups to the photo. :)
