Hi Roberto, glad you're here. Is Italy a big watch enthusiast country? Seems like lots of watch sellers and books about watches come out of Italy..

I believe I have read that it's only a recent development that USA surpassed Italy in import or sales of luxury watches...

    Warm welcome from Geneva!

Italy is full of wonders when it comes to military watches... If you find a UG or Zenith Cairelli in your uncle's garage let us know ;)

    Thanks,
In 2005 I sold my military collection, but the first love is unfogettable, and now I'm rebulding them again.
My next target is ( I hope) the swedish lemania.

Ciao Roberto, benvenuto. Nice first post!

@CTS-V from Aviano you are close to the Dolomiti, one of the most beautiful parts of the western Alps: Val Zoldana and Cadore. I like it in the summer for hikes but it's fantastic year round. You should also check out the small historic town of Spilimbergo and then go to the next town over, San Daniele, for some of the best prosciutto.
