Hello, everyone.
New to the forum. Living in Jersey. I’m and engineer in the scientific community by trade and an aspiring oil painter. Also compete in slingshot marksmanship and build them. Here’s my site if you’d like to take a look. www.faraciart.com

Finally in a position to acquire my dream watch the FOIS.
Was wondering anyone had an idea of what the lowest average cost an Omega store accepts for these? I suck at haggling so hoped to have an honest figure before going in and over paying like the newb I am.

Wish you all a great day.

Cheers
Hernan,

I live in "old" Jersey and whilst you are limited in choice for dealers, etc. which means they know you have less choice to shop around, the sales tax is only 5% compared to 20% in the UK so you get a12.5% discount straight away!
Hernan,

Just sent you a PM

@Meme-Dweller I know.... I was shocked myself. But the Racing inverted panda is visually a force to be reckoned with and less people have them. I tried on the Moonwatch and frankly didn't get the tingles I was hoping for. Although I do like the size and movement more than the Racing model I picked up. Still love it, just not for my first one. In a perfect world the purist in me would have a Moonwatch and the FOIS as well... but being I'm not in that financial position, this panda will do.

I too was smitten with the FIOS, but after trying one on at my AD I walked away disappointed as I felt the legibility of the hands was just not acceptable. To be clear, I LOVE THAT HANDSET, it what makes the watch unique. Just my opinion. Glad you are going to try one in person. Good luck
Thank you. Can't wait for it to arrive. I was able to try on the blue Racing.... they do sit a bit high, which is prob my only gripe with it.

Well, Hernan....Doesn't sound like you're as bad at haggling as you think. Well played.

Got my first Omega! Although I originally went in for the FIOS I ended up purchasing this inverted panda. Just couldn’t get over the look of it. Was able to get it for 25% off retail. Thank you @NYCwatchgal. Scott was great and I look forward to doing more business with them in the future.

That's amazing!! Glad Scott was able to help you out. Take pics when you have the watch in hand!
