Quite correct. Has become much more expensive in recent years. But as you say it's the size that makes it interesting and the bumper movement. I have no gold memovox, but in about a month I will try to bid on a JLC Memovox 18 carat from 1963 in incredible condition complete with box and papers. But it will be expensive, I'm afraid. I have seen many JLC Memovox over the years but most have damaged dials. The crowns vas not so waterproof i think.
