Has this watch defect? Help!

Hello,

I want to buy omega seamaster deville with cal 552, everything seems to be original but the problem is the side of the watch it has some silver part in the case should it be so? The seller doesn't know if something was replaced.

the back plate may have been changed at some point.. as it loooks like a goldtop case .. it should have a stainless steel back dooor

But it is strange that its not completly gold. That part in the middle is silver.

It is not the middle, it's the whole monoblock case which is steel. The front bezel should be 14k gold and the front side of lugs should be capped in 14k gold.
