Apart from the roller use for the paint job, another fantastic thing he did was the inner bezel...

The '15' was applied freestyle 😲

This is a limited Picasso edition- he was doing collage at the time.

Yeah, that’s the best part of the description. 😁 This is so bad, I could actually imagine wearing it ironically on occasion. But certainly not for 150€. 😉

It would be a funny addition to an otherwise clean collection. No real justification needed

Seller's in Pontefract West Yorkshire.

I've been to the ruins of Pontefract Castle on occasion. I should have looked through the remains of the latrine. I might have found that.

That 15 looks like it was cut from a magazine.
The crystal looks like the original was missing and they took a plastic one from another watch and heated it and pressed it in by hand.

Unless this was done to a watch salvaged from a plane crash in a POW camp there's no sane excuse.

PS
I read of an American officer in a Korean War POW camp watching a Chinese guard make a watch crystal from a broken light bulb. He carefully chipped the glass to the proper size and shape, grinding the edges smooth with a rock.
Something like that would deserve a place in a collection.

Looks like a watch a serial killer might put together as a clue to where the bodies are
