Was wondering everyones thoughts on it, I wonder why it hasnt sold... I got more pictures from the seller...thinking about pulling the trigger.
Pretty sure it's a modern redial. Not loving the "9". Look and compare: http://www.watchprosite.com/page-wf.forumpost/fi-677/ti-965913/pi-6723988/ Dial is just too clean. gatorcpa
I thnk the dial is suspect. The minute markers seem too short. The Omega symbol is not symmetric as mentioned. The middle line on the E in OMEGA should be closer to the top line. The horizontal line in the G should be longer and a bit lower down. Plus those numerals look repainted. The center black area in the 9 should be more oval. But, I'm no expert! These are all pointed out in Gatorcpa's post.
Neither the dial (at least in terms of finish) nor hands are original. The bright white numerals would not be possible on an original dial, and the hands lack any apparent oxidation. I would not be at all comfortable with the watch at any price.
I believe this is one I looked at recently too, and the seller had it listed as a redial. Assuming this is the same one I saw, then that would explain the differences between this one and the original dials posted
On the whole the watch lacks patina. Nice watch, but it would appear to have undergone a strong spa treatment.
