Has anyone heard from Steve recently? I sent him two watches in May and have not heard from him since, at this point I have just been trying to get the watches returned to me for the past 2 months but haven't received a response.

He is terrible with email, but great with watches! He has got 3 of mine at the moment, from June I think. He emailed me about 6 weeks back saying he was backed up. Have faith!

I really hope, that Steve is OK. Last eMail I got from him was on Aug. 17. Two days later he was last seen here.

No answer on my two eMails since then.

Has anyone here a closer relationship to him, who could check if all is well?

Ok, I don't have a dog in this fight. I feel however there is a lesson for me from an earlier post. How do you insure a watch in the possession of a watchmaker. This is an important thing I'm sure many of us have not thought about. Thank you. Bill

Once again complete communication breakdown. 🙁

No answer on my six eMails since then. My watch is now 14 months with him. In the first of these six new eMails I wrote, I told him he should not wait for the missing crown, but use the old one and to please go ahead with the service.

Has anyone here heard from him in the meantime? Or does anybody know, if he is OK?

Do the people who know him closer have had better luck using other means of communication (i.e. phone or letter)?

Thank you very much for help on this once again.

he sent back one of my buddies watches after like 9 months of contact and didn't service saying he was too busy...I don't know him personally but at this point holding onto people watches for that time or more and having little to no communication is not a way to do business IMO

tried to call him last saturday, but only reached a voicemail. I left a message, asking for an answer by eMail, without success, yet.

I will be sending out a letter by snail mail today, hoping this will be more successful...

I feel badly for the people on ice who seem to have been put in a deep freeze. My initial reaction was to take a chill pill and deal with it but some of these stories deserve sympathy...

Unconscionable business practice IMHO.
