Has anyone bought from watchrapport.com before?

I was curious if anyone has experience using that platform at all.

I did a quick search and the domain only pops up in a single thread on the forum and just as a link to a Rolex someone saw listed.

Never heard of it and no reviews online is not a good sign. Took a look at the site and it seems they are just acting as watch buyers agents — you let them know the watch you want, you pay their asking price, THEN they try to source it. They do not appear to have any inventory and I think that business model is a recipe for someone (i.e., you) getting burned.

I love their “Rolex Pre-Order” option. Sure, you pay $25,000 for a new GMT Master up front THEN they go to another dealer and buy it for you for less.

Plenty of other reputable gray market/used dealers who actually have the watches in stock.

Yeah some of it looks like just a middle-man listing service, chrono24 style. Other sections did look like they went out and found the watch after.

They have a Rolex pre-order section...
