Has anybody ever seen this unusual Seamaster 166.0250

Hi everybody

I have had this old 166.0250 for a few years. I have now bought a NOS 166.0250 and notice that the dial on the old 166.0250 is somewhat different.....the hour markers are surrounded by thin lines.

My first thinking was that the dial maybe had been refurbished, but I must admit that the quality is extremely good and the surface of the dial looks exactly as on the dial on my NOS 166.0250. My local Omega watchmaker says that Omega (especially in the 70's) made some odd variations, but I have newer ever seen this variant before.

What do You guys think? Is it genuine or refurbished?😕

Thanks

Could it be that the "lines" have always been there, but were not visible until the lume became discoloured over time?

Hmmm, don't think so. Here is a picture of my watch together with another old 166.0250.....the dial is definitely different.
