why omega always pump out this sort of marketing BS I will never understand

They always prioritise celebrity over watches

very distasteful

So there's no point reading the next 8 pages of content? Fair do's.

I hope the remodeling is genuine. Two years ago our local OB in Michigan got boarded up in a similar fashion, and after a couple of months it went from "remodeling" to permanently closed.
My thoughts as well. The boutique isn't shown on the Omega website any longer, just gone. If it was undergoing a remodel wouldn't you leave it on the website and note it was just temporarily closed? There is a rumor that an OB is coming to Austin in the Domain (95 miles away) which could be a smart move, if true it would probably doom the San Antonio location to 'permanently closed'.

Wonderful watch!
In this photo with the Rising Sun.

Very very nice.
It doesn't look too anaemic but I think the printing on the sub dials could be a fraction more bold for more clarity and visual balance right across the entirety of the dial.
I can't wait to see one in the flesh.

It would be great if it weren't nicknamed after space nazis.

Only applicable on the dark side of the moon where they get that He3 stuff.
Besides, The Stormtrooper is what my wife has designated my daily driver car because it dead set looks like something out of the Star Wars franchise.

Has anyone else’s OB or AD stopped taking deposits for this new release?

I did not know that.

Not sure. My sales associate said he’d keep me in the loop on what expected timing would be for my full deposit (I’m somewhere in the low teens) and I haven’t heard a word. I’m guessing they haven’t received a second shipment. They said they’d cap out their full deposits around 20 because they don’t want to over extend themselves in case they don’t get watches in quickly.

I just left the OB in Rome. They have one for sale on bracelet. I could just have bought it like any other watch.

Not all OBs are equal. The Swatch owned OB near me had a display model and required a full (supposedly refundable) deposit. The AD owned OB near me did not have a display model and only required a $1,000 deposit. However, the AD owned OB expected the corporate OB stores to receive the watches first, followed by the AD owned OBs and then the standard ADs.

Anyone hear from their OB this weekend on second shipments/future stock? Don't mind me, just waiting (im)patiently....
