Tempted.

Also 11k here in Canada, so a bit less tempted at retail.

But it's a gorgeous dial, the hands and red accents are spot on, and should easily be a bestseller for Omega.

Some pix, but a bit surprised by the lack of a special section or even dedicated blurb on the official site. Seems almost like a stealth release, despite its heavy trailering. I also only see the steel on steel option.

$8,100, and on the US site, at least, it's only shown on the bracelet.

This is a worthy edition but I'll have to see it in person to fully judge it. Stark white dials can be problematic in my experience, often too harsh compared to a creme dial of the Albino, or a silvery opaline dial. I have an Apollo 11 35th dial, a Rising Sun and a modded 3575 date/moon which satisfies my need for light colored Speedmasters. But glad a white dial version is available for those that want one. I don't think the uptake will be that large compared to the black dial, but options are good. At least the price is rational. But please, don't call this the 'Daniel Craig' model, that's just wrong.

I think it’s gorgeous and will be a big seller. If I didn’t already have a Speedmaster and was in the market I would be very tempted to go for this new white dial. Great addition to the lineup.

This white Speedy is a winner to me.

Applied indices, white dial, red Speedmaster, black hands, 3861 movement, and stepped subdials are all fantastic choices. Plus this is a standard model. I wish they had a hesalite version but that's just my preference.

I'll be looking forward to adding this to my collection once it hits the second hand market at a discount (hopefully).

Is it a standard model? NA on the website, Boutique only (for now, it says) leads me to think it will be a prepay and wait here in the US ala Snoopy. Hope I’m wrong.

This is just how watches show up on the US website when first launched. I don't think any have ever been available online at launch.
If it was a boutique exclusive, it wouldnt say "currently" unavailable. Look at the new PO colorways for an example.

Looks like the white 3861 is gonna be standard production.

It's striking, but I'd be more tempted if there were a Hesalite option with the solid caseback.

It says the same thing that Snoopy does, not available online, contact a boutique. Same with Bond 60th. It’s not Boutique only, but that doesn’t mean you can walk in and buy one either.

You could order the standard 3861 online day of launch if I remember correctly.

Again, hope I am wrong.

I don't think you will see any new Hesalite versions going forward, they keep the standard one for the traditionalists, but Omega knows that trying to sell a plastic crystal watch with solid back at a premium price is a loser.
