    Hello!

I recently impulse-bought a cool Hamilton chrono from the 1990s, a Sinn 156-lookalike. It has a military connection and I would like to know more, in particular I would like to determine if it was engraved/personalized or if it was sourced by the military: it has Italian military markings on the back. I did not specifically bought it because of this fact, but it would be nice to know.

Would Hamilton deliver an archive extract? On their website I found nothing...

A picture of the same kind of watch here on OF can be found here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/hamilton-lemania-5100.19569

(still waiting for it, I'll update with a picture later).

    [title updated for clarity]

Well, at least some pictures of this chrono (Fedex took 10 days to cover the last 15km, I was a little uncomfortable at some point):

    Front:

Back (unlike every other one I have seen until now):

    Compared to a Heuer Bundeswehr:

Crown is screwed, bezel is uni directional with clicks. Day wheel is in French? Curious detail, maybe a mixup at the factory because day wheels in French and Italian have 4 days in common.

First owner is said to be an Eurofighter pilot. The previous owner before myself reached to Hamilton and managed to obtain some info : the model number is 90300, model name is "Chrono King", it may have been made in 89 for the Italian market in a small batch. A few have the 1997 stamp in the back, no info about that. No specific details available either about a subset of this batch being a custom order for the AMI.

Curious if anyone here has seen another one? I looks like this is a rare variation of an uncommon watch...

Hamilton was on fire in the 90’s with the HTC’s (2824 module chrono’s) the Chronomatic II’s (7750 based) and the Lemania based ones. They were rather unloved for a long time but that seems to be changing….particularly when people keep posting about them :whistling:
    :whipped:

Rarest than Sinn and B&R by Sinn models.
I was investigating years ago and apparently was a very short production ( 200 pieces ) and delivered to Italian Army.
My unit isn’t engraved on case back.
I will show you more photos .
To be honest I never seen anyone with original bracelet like mine.
    Cheers

    Interesting

I do have an Hamilton bracelet with it, not sure it is original (solid endlinks so I doubt it)

If this watch was currently in production I would buy it.

(Is anyone from Hamilton reading this thread?)
