What a wonderful poem!

Not only has the Golden Squirrel called, he bites real hard:

This should be in hand just after Christmas. And yes, I end the year with no more bucks for a while.

Hint is "Paul McCartney and Wings".

Again - Dennis is ineligible, but was quite valuable in the purchase.

I'm going to guess Longines or UG?

The brand is in your post, now you need to guess the model.

...but was quite valuable in the purchase and has undeniable infinity DIBS.

I am calling for UG. Longines does not usually have the numbers on the outside caseback if I am not wrong.

They do, but not many. You'd see it on more watches in the 70's from them than the earlier decades.

Your guess is half correct. Maybe we should ask Dennis move this sub-thread over to the Universal Forum at this point.

Lou, you need to read my hint again, but you are real close.

Apparently some at USPS are working on Christmas Day:

Processed at USPS Origin Sort Facility SAN BERNARDINO, CA 92403 December 23, 2013 4:04 pm
Accepted at USPS Origin Sort Facility LA QUINTA, CA 92253 December 23, 2013 2:49 pm

Then again, I think they get at least 2X salary to work today.
