    Hi all ..
Just picked up my Speedmaster "tintin" .. And my wrist size seems to be inbetween bracelet lengths.
Add a link and move end to shorter pin hole. - too loose.
Remove link and move end to longer pin hole - ok but could be looser.

Is there a half link? This is for the screw in type links.
    Thanks
    Ian.

Can you adjust where the last link goes to the clasp? Not sure if that model has that though...

Yes ... I was trying to describe that when I mentioned using the longer or shorter hole (on the clasp)

Frustratingly, no half link for the 1958/957 bracelet is available. I could really use one, too. I have no idea why they wouldn't produce these. An extra 2mm would do my watch wonders and I'd pay for the privilege. Omega WILL say sorry that it doesn't fit to YOUR liking if you write them, though. If anyone knows of a solution (using this bracelet), please share.

There wasn't officially one for the previous bracelet either - it was a 1/2 link for another similar bracelet that was used to do the job...

If it's the 1998/840 bracelet half link you're after then you need:

    Half link : OME-115ST1610
    Bracelet tube : OME-201ST0055
    Bracelet link pin : OME-128ST2000

No--the OP's tintin model has the newer 1958/957 style which uses screws. The one you referenced is the older style with pins and is not compatible with the screw type.

Ah thanks for clarifying. Makes sense as my speedy is older.

Need to revive this thread!! The main reason why I am not wearing my Tintin more often is because the bracelet can not be adapted to suit my wrist size. ::rant:
Omega, hear us?? We do need a half link option for the 1958/957 bracelet!!
Does someone here have an in at Omega and could petition on behalf of the community?
Who has Raynald A.'s number on speed-dial? ::confused2::
Thank you in advance for making the pitch!!

Ironically the Tokyo 2020 LE's have the 4666 adjustable clasp fitted, perhaps ask Raynald ,if it's on this LE why they can't put it on all the others

I have the Tokyo LE and it still sucks. Only 3 notches and when extended fully, it's actually shorter than a half-link. No real help.. I don't know why they even bothered. You'd need the longer adjustable 5-position clasp from a Seamaster to get the proper adjustment.

Does anybody have the Omega part reference(s) # for the 1958/957 bracelet version?

    NEVERMIND.... I think I found it: STZ004193...

Or rather my contact at Omega Corporate US found it. Reached out to plea for adding the half link option.
    Will keep everybody posted.

And here is the Omega HQ reply already:
Half links are not offered on the Speedmaster bracelet for historical reasons, and there are no plans to change this. ::confused2::

Is someone on this forum able to make sense of this?? :cautious:

If you don't mind the extra thickness you can add the adjustable clasp to the 957 bracelet.

There's a YouTube video titled OMEGA -Speedmaster Adjustable Clasp 117STZ001154 Upgrade- that describes that very process, it details all the part #'s and process. The adjustable clasp is a bit larger, but IMHO, not excessive. I guess I'll find out, just emailed the part #'s to my Omega dealer to see if he can get them. I also have ordered the brown leather Omega strap with the deployment clasp. hopefully I'll be able to get both adjusted to fit.

I purchased the 957 bracelet for my 2254.50 and also upgraded the clasp. It works very well and is worth the price.

I just got a new 1958/957 and have the same problem. I have the Adjustable clasps on my Seamasters and they work great....
