The Hands? Could be relumed..or not. Different color and condition compared to the plots don't necessarily tell that. Who is/was the seller? That might give clues but would you really mind if the Hands where "treated", they look quite good and matching.

I've observed puffy original lume in the past but it was never applied this sloppily. I suspect the whole thing has been tweaked based on those pics. Hand lume looks unnatural. Simply looks like a poor attempt at reluming and colour matching to me.

    Cheers,

what I find odd is is the 12 o'clock marker...does it not look different?

Hands look painted, and a glow test should tell alot...these dial and hands should glow, and should be the same.

Looks to be sloppy lume application.

I'll stick my neck out and say all original.
The real experts will probably chime in and say I'm talking out of my arse.

...That detail makes this watch a slam dunk "tweaky dial and hands"..If the lume had to fall off, certainly the lume on the other markers would have suffered the same fate. I don't think this dial/hand scheme is even close to be originally applied tritium.

Try it with a uv light or camera flash to see if it displays a uniform glow for a few seconds.

I'm swaying towards original. At least for the dial. Hands I'm more 50/50 on.

My response was more to the hands which look to have been artificially lumed or colored. It just doesn't seem to fit together. The dial lume looks original, just swollen and flaking. I immediately saw the descrepancy of the hands and it lost it's originality to me.

Of course it's advertized as 100% original... most forum-members mention the hands, my question was more about the hour markers...

Usually the hands lame looks darker but in this case too many tone difference!
I will bet on a relume (...on the dial => the flaking lume should probably fall...and not overflowing)

That new pic reminds me of a 1970s 321 service dial with crude and thick lume application.

Guess it could be original...as for the hands, I would want them to have the same shade of color when glowing.
