My SubC is 'NEW' but the little notch for the claps has a rough little edge.
I could see it wearing down from over use.
I try to line it up so that it doesn't go down unless it's in the open hole. It should be lined with an open hole but sometimes it's difficult to do and ends up in the middle.

This is just another thing to obsess about but I was wondering if anyone else over uses the glideclasp and can report over years if their's has been worn down by it.

 

Nope - mine has worked flawlessly since 2014

Was yours like this from new? If so, take it back and ask Rolex to sort it out

Ditto, mine a 2014, also looks like it will last a lifetime.

 

Mine is 2016 and no issues yet which I dont expect any, plus you have 5 years for a warranty so you are covered.

And mine has been gliding & locking often since 2010.
