Has anyone purchased some Vintage Omegas from Vintage Portfolio? I came across the site ( the name Maximillian rings a bell somehow) as I was researching for my 9M SN OMEGA ART DECO. The case back is messed up I brought it to a shop in West 47th NYC months ago doing laser welding and was told that it is corroded and won't stand a chance.
Thanks and this is my piece. I brought it to my watchmaker hoping he can find even a generic caseback but no luck. He installed a crystal instead (forgot to take a shot) tom protect the movement. Now my 1940ish Omega has a see through back. Can someone point where I can score/source the caseback? There is no ref no inside the case back so I just assumed it is 2319 based on what I saw from Vintage Portfolio.
