It all looks much grander that it was, but they certainly know how to flatter . I spent an hour and a half working on reassembling the core elements of a Reverso with the JLC boutique watchmaker. It was definitely educational and enjoyable but the certificate is a bit of puffery they give you at the end. All good fun though
Yes, quite a few watches have 8 day reserves. We had a bit of discussion about it and the gearing between the two barrels that are used to deliver it, although that is as much as I can tell you ! It does. Finding the time might be a problem though
