A: anytime between february and august 1967 - serial 24.71x, 24.72x and 24.73x SM300's were produced in non-chronological batches in this periode, so a 24.71x could be both early and late in this periode.

B: august 1966 - IF correct that is. There are not many 165.024 cased SM300's in the serial 23.00x range, if any (well, I havn't seen any). A few straight lug 165.014-64's though.

So yes, would be interesting to see the faces and casebacks ... and indeed those extracts.

Interesting. Are you sure you haven't switched top and bottom here? ;-)
And is the bottom one, serial 23.00x, also listed as a 165.024 on the extract?
Would be nice to end this game with a little more info on references and pictures of the front

    Nice. Thanks.
One last question regarding the 23.00x from dec 66.
Is it a straight reference 165.024 without subreference in the caseback? And is dial and hands original as far as you know?
If so, it's properly the earliest serial seen on a straight 165.024.
