So Analogshift has started their own line of bags with the specific purpose and target audience of watch collectors. What kind of bags do you guys use to carry your watchroll/watch bags? I'm using a pretty old crumpler messenger bag. (costs like 35 usd used) https://shop.analogshift.com/collections/grahame-fowler-x-analog-shift-collection
haha totes i assume? I don't like them but I can understand why some people like them. I was looking at Filson bags but at that pricing, its still canvas.
Currently using my +30 year old issued helmet bag from military active duty to haul watches and watch paraphernalia...had to do a cloth tape job on the disintegrating handles a little while back due to the mass of the MWO book.
Last few GTGs I have brought a camera. So I take out the unneeded camera equipement from the bag and use a 5 Watch roll (waxed canvas from HubCityVintage). https://www.hubcityvintage.com/watch-rolls/ The watch roll is also my go to for traveling. Small, secure and easy to use.
Oh cool. I was in the Air Force back when I was serving my National Service. Had the chance to purchase the flight bags, but I wasn't a pilot oh well. haha
Ah wife got a watch roll from convoy recently. pretty nifty! Just that my crumpler bag looks alittle out of place during GTGs haha
All looks a bit suspect to me. A real man turns up at a GTG with a converted shotgun case: http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?390569-What-to-do-with-an-old-shotgun-case There is obviously the other possibility of buying a fishing bag from a proper manufacturer of these things for something nearer to $200. https://www.chapmanbags.com/us/rod-gun/fishing.html#page=2&top=456& Why does this stuff remind me of...
I would have thought it best to use any bag that doesn't look like a bag full of very expensive watches..... or very expensive anything. I use the same logic for my guitar collection. My Gibson Les Paul travels to and from the car in an ironing board cover. I like them because nobody has ever said "have you got an expensive American electric guitar in that ironing board cover?"
No man purse ether for me reminds me of the fanny pack those sucked to. I like these cases made by custom case designs own two. The eight pack The 16 pack http://customcasedesigns.com/index....Path=4&zenid=94938732a09e34c73d0ca95f1e137d75
Presumably that “MoD Roll” is intended for members of the “Special Bag Service”. Manbags, Handbags, Purses, call ‘em what you will; they look daft.
this is not mine, but I have one. although it makes you look like a wanna be secret agent or something...
Just wanna ask, does the watches come into contact when rolled over, or does the watch buckles touch each other?
