As well as the crown and the rehaut ;)

The asking is really heavy considering the condition... :cautious:

Mine is also a 105002-62 with very similar lume and dial issues. The similarity of condition within such a rare reference does make me wonder if they were issued with these dials rather than these being later additions? Despite the grot, they are beautiful.

A buddy here in Switzerland has a 105.002-62 with an absolutely mint grey dial and the lime has the same pumpkin tone. - I can confirm they haven't all aged this way.

But could the fact that so many of these grey dials are seen in a comparatively rare Speedmaster model point towards them having left the factory with them?

Twin 105.002-62. 17 digits apart. All original (7912/6 bracelets as well).

I appreciate vintage watches, I just don’t have the patience to learn all of the nuisances. I’m also too OCD to pay the prices for the some of these pieces in what I consider rather poor condition. I was even ready to purchase a vintage Rolex GMT recently and I just could not do it primarily because of the lightness and different feel from a modern watch. I suppose I am the target market for the reissues.

This watch, overall, is very attractive! I'd say that it is beautiful, mainly thanks to the dial/hands combo and the beautiful bezel.
On the one for sale, I also feel like 40k$ is crazy, especially since the case is really poor and all of the other issues mentioned above (I mean come on, if you charge 40k at least fit correct hands !)

Well, even regular speedmaster hands would be OK I assume. I'm not talking about leaf hands obviously, but if I'm not mistaken the OP watch has Mk2 hands (or at least, they look too short to me)
