Visible now in Paris. Had to share as those are incredible pieces. Pity the lighting made it difficult to take pictures.
The one that takes the cake for me is a ladies watch from 1925 I believe , it’s platinum with a carpet of diamonds and saphires.
Then there’s one with diamonds and onyx from 1920 or so (will double check later).
and an unbelievable table watch with plexiglas from 1924, and a beautiful gold pocket watch....

Wow!
I think @RealFire and @Radiumpassion might like to see that gold-dial pocket-watch - "Cubiste", non?

Syrte, you really "need" one of those first two watches to be on your wrist.

Thanks for the photos of watches that struck your fancy.

To be hanging out on the Omega Forums I sure do like some classic vintage Longines.

Great stuff, thanks for sharing. I particularly like the coin edge pocket watch, super cool dial.

Beautiful examples of fine watches from mostly the 1920s. You can see the influence of the Art Deco period in many of the designs. I view the timepieces as examples of art and fine jewelry. Wonderful exhibit and thanks for sharing.

Very interestingly the beautiful gold pocket watch has a mention in the archive that calls it “coin tail” (“pile de monnaie”) watch. In any event it shows indeed what a beautiful “coin edge” really is- contrary to so many incorrect uses, getting it confused with flat bezel or cylinder cases.

@Syrte Merci pour les photos. À quel endroit cette exposition?
Wow, so sorry I omitted to reply- for some reason I must have not seen your post. It was at the Bucherer store near the Opera. (Rue Scribe IIRC).

Agreed— there were actually a few more pieces, but I only took pictures of the ones I liked the most. Pleasure to share such beauties.
