My dad gave me this watch a number of years ago. It's his father's old watch from around the 1950's or so. It didn't really speak to me at the time, so it's just been sitting in the safe deposit box as a family heirloom. Just like the Omega he gave me last year, apparently it was sent for some kind of service about 7 years ago, but I have no idea what was done then. The watch will run when it's moved or when I wind the movement a bit, but I've done no measurements with respect to how accurate it is or anything, and I have no clue exactly when my dad took possession of it or what kind of servicing my grandfather might have ever had done to it.

Today I was visiting the safe deposit box and snapped a few quick pictures with my phone. Anyway, I think it's kind of neat. Might take it out to wear once in a while..... ignore the black coloring on the hands and indices in the second photo - that's the reflection of my dark jacket.

Love the coffin link bracelet- that should go home with you and be in your rotation- it’s a cool watch.

Nice watch and very cool bracelet. Any idea about what the case diameter is? I would get it serviced and put it in rotation!

I had the same thought. The signed coffin link is very cool. Nice watch with a family connection.

Interesting I've never heard the term coffin link before. I know from searching here that some other members have Titoni watches, but I haven't done much real research on the brand or this specific reference other than to note that some quick Google searches don't really come up with much. I guess the brand is/was big in Asia at some point. The Space Star line is still in production to this day. Like I said I don't know much about the provenance/history other than it was my grandfather's watch that went to my dad, so if anyone has any readily available pointers or information or such I'd love to learn more. Thanks in advance!

Did not measure. I'm terrible at guesstimating numbers and such, but my SWAG would be like 38mm?

This watch looks awesome! The coffin bracelet is definitely a looker. It's one of the few vintage watches with bracelet that I would wear.

Coffin link bracelets were popular in the mid 60’s, the most famous of them being the Kreisler that came on the Accutron Astronaut

I doubt it was the official name given to the style when it came out (a bit morbid), just like I assume the JBChampion Bullet bracelet wasn’t the official name of that bracelet, but the links look like the side profile of bullets so the nickname stuck.
