·My dad gave me this watch a number of years ago. It's his father's old watch from around the 1950's or so. It didn't really speak to me at the time, so it's just been sitting in the safe deposit box as a family heirloom. Just like the Omega he gave me last year, apparently it was sent for some kind of service about 7 years ago, but I have no idea what was done then. The watch will run when it's moved or when I wind the movement a bit, but I've done no measurements with respect to how accurate it is or anything, and I have no clue exactly when my dad took possession of it or what kind of servicing my grandfather might have ever had done to it.
Today I was visiting the safe deposit box and snapped a few quick pictures with my phone. Anyway, I think it's kind of neat. Might take it out to wear once in a while..... ignore the black coloring on the hands and indices in the second photo - that's the reflection of my dark jacket.
