I believe this watch is from the early to mid '40s.
I had it serviced and repaired, luckily it didn't need much.
It was on a crazy gold Spiedel band, and I had it modernized
on this leather band, I really love the watch, and wear it in his
memory.

It's 70 years old and still running beautifully, had it serviced last year. I'm very thankful to have it.

Right on, both of my grand parents are gone now, they were in their late 80s, I miss them both very much.

Beautiful watch!!!!! Bet grandpa would be happy to know that you enjoy it so much!!I have three heirloom watches, two from dad, one one from his father. All have been overhauled and still fit into the rotation.PS, just noticed we're neighbors. I live down in Hudson.

Nice! IMHO, these "Explorer" style dials have a simple but very appealing look. 👍
