I'm inclined to buy either of these that has creamier shade of yellow. I've read conflicting reports; somewhere its mentioned that 231 with leather strap has darker yellow shade as compared to 235 with bracelet version, others state reverse that 235 with blue second had has creamier hue than 231.

I would be much obliged if you help me which number in comparison has creamier dial. I can't see them at boutique here as it'll be imported by them from Japan on my confirmed order.

It would be lovely if you give your choice, which one you'd pick as a daily Grand Seiko.

Any other feedback would also be much appreciated. Regards

The 235 is definitely a more ivory shade than the 231. The blued hand however is lovely, and the bracelet is excellent.

As per the previous comment, in the metal the colour of the dial is far more ivory/off-white than a pure white. I think the bracelet is very underrated, is great.

Bracelet makes the dial pop.

The one with the blued second hand, these can really pop in some light conditions adding another dimension

Okay so it's decided. 235 is hand's down winner. Thank you all for your feedback. Regards

I would always go for the bracelet version of any watch, if possible, even though I prefer wearing straps.
