Interesting Dial a plus. If there is a bracelet, it must be 7.5" (19mm). Looking for used. Not wanting to spend more than $1K (USD).

Looking at this one. But don't want to jump the gun. Thoughts? Have anything better? Thanks for your time in advance. Auto is OK, but I am worried about going service costs. Is the band aid a spacer?

With the US dollar exchange rate in its favour I am surprised with how many pieces are for sale under $1k.
My initial thought was you’d be lucky but there are loads of choice.
I like the slightly older style models in your price range because the text at 6 o’clock gives the dial balance in my eyes.
Just so you are aware they do wear quite small and especially on a 7 1/2 wrist. If 36-38mm is what you normally wear then you’ll be used to it. I had the blue dial 065 37mm for a while but sold it because it was just a tad small for my taste. I replaced it with a new quartz gmt version which is 39-40 which I’m happier with.
The seller has 100% positive feedback I’ve never had any issues with Japanese business sellers.
They are great quartz watches, I doubt you’d find an auto for under $1k and if you did it would probably be very tired or smaller at 36mm
You’ve found that one I’d keep looking for a week or so and see if anything else pops up. You can always go back to it and if it sold you’d find another one as they are not rare.

regards

Great Advise, especially regarding the strong dollar. I was able to find a year old Grand Seiko Heritage for half of list price. It is 40 mm and still under warenty. Thanks!

Congratulations, was it a private sale or from a business? If a business would you mind sharing, you can PM me if you’d prefer. Totally understand if you’d rather not and enjoy it when it arrives. It’s really cool knowing you can pick it up after any amount of time and it will be still incredibly close to any timing source you’ve previously set it to.

It was $2,600 at the Seiko Boutique, but I found it at $1,359.00 in Japan. Same seller as the black dial. I have a lot of black and blue dials so a silver dial is a nice addition.
