·Up for sale is my Grand Seiko 4520-7000 from 1969. This watch has an interesting and uniquely shaped case - sort of a cushion case with faceting. The dial is a dark blue matte that can look black in certain lighting.
The movement is the Hi-Beat manual caliber 4520A.
The watch was recently given a full take down service at Jerry's Watch Repair in Seattle.
The case has well-defined angles with sharp edges and looks unpolished to me. There are some tiny minor nicks, but these are largely unnoticeable to the naked eye. The hands have some corrosion that is visible under magnification, but again is not readily seen by the naked eye. I consider the condition to be very good.
The case size is 37mm x 41mm, so it wears well on the modern wrist.
These don't seem to come up for sale very often.
My price is Reduced (again) to $1199 net, including shipping in the CONUS. Shipped elsewhere at cost.
Happy to supply more photos if desired and to answer any questions I can answer.
