Greetings everyone,

I would like to share my last addition to my collection and ask you, experts in the field of haute horology, for help with the identification of the maker.

It deals with the most probably late 19th century grand complication pocket watch comprising full perpetual calendar, moonphase, and minute repeater complications encapsulated in the Lepine type 18k gold case measuring 56mm in diameter and weighing close to 130 grams.

Both movement and case are marked G&B, incorporating french calendar. I tried my best to source more, but without any success. I have found only one orphaned movement with the dial and hands dated back to the 1890s. I guess that it deals with the Swiss-made product exported to Portugal to a final customer under the brand of a retailer.

Hand's design is distinctive and unique. Looking after the provenance I stumbled upon a manufacturer Lévy Hermanos who's hands design is almost identical. https://rauantiques.com/products/enamel-minute-repeater-chronograph-pocket-watch

Thank you very much for any clues and hints...

Have a prosperous year 2026 everyone!

Luke
