Congrats! You made an excellent choice.

Regarding service, I would suggest hold off on it for a bit. No need to rush for service if the watch is 5 years old and it keeping good time. Omega will replace everything during service anyway. Enjoy it for a while!

I absolutely love it. The understated GMT bezel is fabulous. Assuming you are in aviation, it's one complication that will actually be used routinely. That watch would look equally great in uniform as well as casually relaxing at the bar on an overnght.

Maybe get it pressure tested to verify if the WR is still intact? About all that's needed for now if it's keeping good time.
