Just got back some excellent work from Juergen Causemann in Germany. I did ask him about the Sale rumors from time to time . That`s what it is; Rumors. He is doing what he does best; work for customers. As they do for the last 130 years. No Sale. All good. Still one of the best, I`ve encountered in 30 years. Kind regards. achim

Contact: Google Guides you to their website. Which might need an upgrade....the email link is there and direct to Juergen Causemann. Send very clear pictures, what you want to do. Request an picture of the Font, they use before you give the thumbs up. You have to tell them the shade of paint, you want and every other details as concrete as possible. Then there will be no disappointment. Kind regards. Achim

His father used to do the fine work and Bethge bought their business, as far as I know? So if you say "rumors", Mr. Bethge didn't tell me the truth? I met Mr. Bethge in person two years ago and he said that Causemann sold his business to them.

I just spoke with Jürgen Causemann... He's still running his business. 😀 Jürgen told me that these rumors may come from the fact that he is planning to close down his business in a few years.

So I can confirm that Mr. Bethge didn't tell the truth (don't know how to spell "business-damaging liar"). :whipped:😕🤨🤮::facepalm1::

Maybe Bethge is the Origin of " Fake News " and not Trumplstiltsken...... kind regards. Achim
I think this is unbelievable! I sat at their table with him and his wife in Pforzheim when he told me that Causemann had sold his business to them and he had expected more from the deal, was disappointed by the poor equipment they had and that at least he got the customer contacts...

I'll declare BETHGE as personal public enemy #1 from now on.

Other than the guys who stole my car last week, I know his face and web presence and where he is located:

The chronometer dial is not bad but it is not correct - I don´t know why he does it constantly wrong allthough I have told him several times what to avoid.

Causemann isn't expensive. But, as Achim said above, you have to take care of what you expect and try to make very sure he gets your point.

Today I visited Juergen Causemann himself and gave him some dials and set of hands. I asked him to do some special restauration work on this dials for me. I know him for more than 20 years. And he is still doing his wonderful business. He tolds me today that, if it is possible, he try to retire in 3 or five years.
But this depends on some factors.....and his father is still doing the luming of the dials and hands.
So, I can proof that the " two man show Causemann" is still running doing it's very best.
Hope this helps.
