Good dealers for 30s-40s Omegas?

I have found a couple dealers that have a strong selection of 30s-40s Omegas and other similar brands from this period (Longines, Eberhard, Movado, UG, etc). Here are my current favorites, each of them have many early Omegas for sale now. Are there any places I missed?

I think I originally found all of these on Chrono24 and I obviously look there, but I also like to look at the direct sites as there is often stuff I missed on Chrono24. I'm in the US but I haven't found any place in the US with a good selection.

I'd also appreciate comments on these dealers, I am no expert to say the least.

You鈥檒l want to avoid this one. He鈥檚 been banned from this forum a number of times, using a different name every time.

It looks like I'm marching in the wrong direction, only two places now 馃檨. Re: the other two, Time Anagram seems to have really good quality but also high prices to go with it. Watch 4 Passion looks solid all around to me, both good original watches and usually reasonable prices (but, I don't understand the $30K+ he has on the Omega 33.3 chrono there now). The prices in general are a mystery for me because I don't know all the subtleties of the rare dials/cases/etc.

What types of watches are you looking for? Unless it's something really special, I don't see the need to buy from a dealer.

I like all kinds of 20s through 40s wristwatches from leading makers. Let me know where I can find them, dealers are a rip-off so I would much prefer to buy elsewhere! I have found very little on eBay or in various listings like on this site.

.. here are a couple I have now to give a more concrete idea:

I like how unique each of these watches is. In general I like how there were so many experiments going on in this period.

That's a nice trio. Unless you're made of money or you're desperate to buy a watch immediately, I don't think you really need to focus on dealer inventories. If you hunt patiently, interesting vintage watches will show up sporadically in auctions, forum sales listings, etc. And if someone shows a watch that interests you, there's no harm in calling dibs. Just be aware that if a nice watch comes up for sale at a fair price it goes quickly. And the corollary is that most things you find while searching the internet is either overpriced or has something wrong with it.

Thanks for the sound advice. I think I've looked at most of the dealer listed watches of this period by now in any case. I found a few I really liked and got them. I don't care too much about the resale price, it's more what it's worth to me. That UG above for example I expect I "overpaid" for, but to me the design is priceless so I can live with what I paid for it. It was from Time Anagram. Of course it's always better when it can be flipped for a profit..

I have been looking at some of the watch auction aggregators, I did find one watch I liked so far but I got outbid. Guess I need to keep looking. I'm in no rush and in fact the slower the better in a way, my limited $$ will last longer and I won't have to sell to buy 馃榿

Of course. The one with the double serial. Don't count on flipping it at a profit (if you buy at a trader)

Good catch I didn鈥檛 see that. I know I can鈥檛 flip that one, their prices seem pretty high.

If you're interested in Omega's from this period I am periodically selling some of my collection - which is made mostly of 1930s and 1940s watches. I have a couple listed for sale on here atm in the private sales page, but I can also be found on my instagram @vintage_watch_emporium . I'm not a dealer, but you can rest assured that what I sell is all original unless otherwise stated, and all in fairly good collectible condition as I had bought all of the watches originally to be a part of my personal collection!

Cool thanks will look. I did see a few of your watches listed here but could not figure out how to find all of them amongst the 500 pages of listings. I am pretty particular on what I like, I have no idea what it is but random watches strike my fancy. The middle one above I just love the way the numbers are oriented and how it gives a symmetry to the watch face. I have seen a few other watches with numbers oriented like that but they just didn鈥檛 do what this one does for me.

Also good to find a fellow 30s-40s collector, there don鈥檛 seem to be too many of us out there.

That would be a centre seconds dial with numerals that are in a radial pattern. You can click on my profile and click FS to see what's for sale atm. I don't think I have any with radial dials that I am looking to sell atm, but I do have one or two with a similar general aesthetic.
