Hello, Can someone recognize this? I can not find Cal. on the movement. Also I think hands are wrong and case is not original too. Screwdown caseback has no ref number Thank You
Looks good to me. Has the blued metal seconds hand, which was very common in the 1940's. Most of the steel Omega watches from this time do not have a case reference number on the case back. There should be a 7-digit case serial number inside. Picture? Very nice old Omega, gatorcpa
I see Hour and minute hands look so strange because of nice patinated dial I suppose There is some 8-digit number on outside 10374283
I've not seen the case number on the outside on this style of case before, but the inside markings look 100% correct. Looks like it dates from 1944 or so based on case dating charts. That is a genuine Omega movement and dial. Whether they all started life together is anyone's guess. Some cases use tension rings rather than clamps to keep the movement from moving inside. This seems to be what you have there. gatorcpa
The naiad line had serial outside of the case and tension ring for the caliber because there was no removable bezel. It looks right to me also, even if, like Gator said. it is the first time I see serial outside of the case for this design.
