i wouldn't say that's corrosion just abit of tarnish from the the metal its mixed with lovely watch tho
I have to agree, they are very nice. I always thought Gold watches were a bit "Old Man" but not any more.
I love gold watches and enjoy having gold watches in the menagerie. I even liked 'em when I wasn't so old, hah!
Haha, ya im here. Loving the gold JB Champion. This is getting me motivated to sell sell watches so I can get more serious about funding (and finding) a gold speedmaster.
Just posted this in another thread, but hey, I never get tired of gold, so yeah, consider me officially "old". Also, for tarnishing on 18k gold, this is the one situation in which very gentle polishing by a pro works wonders, you remove almost zero metal but do remove the unsightly tarnish.
Not for me but perhaps for someone else, claimed to be Never Worn by seller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OMEGA-S...631596?hash=item4d5faca46c:g:7~oAAOSwPxtZdeeUPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
From the gold watches in the menagerie showing different hues, one example of each. From left to right: 14kt yellow gold Longines 19AS, 18kt rose gold Longines 27M, 14kt white gold Lucien Piccard automatic, and 18kt green gold Glycine 18-jewel movement. The Glycine is not tarnished but possesses a distinct green hue when compared with yellow gold.
