I own some of these.
There is no spring bar on this buckle but a small bar with thread on one end like a flat head long screw.

I have to agree. mis-stamped in some places inside. Omega logo is poorly done. Fat, flat and uneven.

Oh, and @dsio - good to see you back at it.

For the new members, Ash / dsio is what the rap world would call OG (original gangsta) when it comes to comedic avatar installations. Since this is not rap, let's say he's OP (original pranksta). Do a search for the word "avatar" and check the box for "titles only" and see what you get. Pure gold, I tell ya!

Totally genuine

Hallmarked birmingham ( the anchor) , 9 carat gold, M is 1961 from memory

These squarer ones are nice, some of the older ones are more curved, with the hallmark stamps underneath, not on the side - pls see below

This one below and the one above are too expensive in my opinion, one is highly polished

Just wait for a true auction - should be able to pick both types up for £100 to £130

With the english hallmarks would this buckle have originally been paired with a UK cased Omega.

I think so, but have been out if the uk for over two years now, and havent been following the prices of these

These are nice if you have a gold watch, and want to pair the buckle to the same year of the watch

No one fakes these, and you have two sorts to chose from

The tang should also be hallmarked 9ct , but these are rare and mostly lost
