Are these... Two luminescent keyboard keys? And people are willing to pay $1,000+ for them? 馃槙

I thought I had seen it all...
Yep, that's exactly what they are. Resin keycaps.

LOL I would argue that some people might say the same about certain watches

To keep on theme I use a daskeyboard and I think its great. I have an old Dell mechanical at work that I like as well. Funny thing is I like mine, but when I hear other people typing on mechanical it drives me crazy. I am in charge of procurement at work and everyone else has a membrane keyboard 馃榿

Keeping it simple.

Off the shelf Corsair K70 Cherry MX

Didn't expect that from you lol, I'm using the Corsair K65 tenkeyless version with Cherry MX speed switches and rubber O-rings added under the keycaps.

I'm going with Al here, I didn't know this was a thing. Even if I did 405$ for one BroCaps 2Spo0ky Reaper Topre Keycap?

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/BroCaps-2Spo...d=152665088954&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

I love the description.

Genuine Brocaps Reaper "Topre" variant,

received this keycap from Mr. Brocaps himself. Clear translucent face w/ flat black hood, eyes can be powered up green with a strong light source.

Pains me to sell off a few treasured pieces from my key collection, but wedding planning isnt cheap. thank you for viewing and happy bidding...

brocaps dont kill me...

Maybe I'm just not tuned into this. I just replaced my big clunky Microsoft Reclusa keyboard which I'd been using for 5 years and never could find a driver for that actually mapped the keys properly.......

with an off the shelf Advent keyboard from a computer store.

It cost me 拢5.99

P.S. The keys now magically actually produce the letters and symbols they are supposed to!

I know it's COTH, both I really enjoy the feel of this Logitech G613 ... heavy keys and they aren't crazy loud but they type so well with the Romer-G Tactile Key Switches.

I have just switched from a Leopold FC900R with Cherry red to a FC980M with Cherry black and a set of PBT keycaps that fits the room color scheme. The reduced footprint while retaining a full numpad is great. I have never tried Topre, perhaps I should...

I have a Razer BlackWidow Elite with Orange Tactile/Silent switches and a very similar Razer BlackWidow V3 with Green Tactile/Clicky switches. I prefer the Orange "Silent" switches. Silent is a bit of a misnomer as it's not exactly a quiet keyboard. The magnetic padded wrist rest on the Elite version is a big step up. The Elite is also much heavier which I really like. Makes it feel more premium and keeps it from moving around. I got the Elite for $90 at I believe about 50% off during a big sale a few years ago. The V3 is $99 on Amazon. I'm not a mechanical keyboard aficionado but I'm very happy with the Razers for the price.

One downside is their customization software only works on Windows so you can't customize the RGB stuff and keys on a Mac. I don't care about the RGB and I use Karabiner to remap keys so not a big deal for me.
