Too little, too late, I'm afraid. It's all over but the cryin'.

Four teams have won the Stanley Cup after losing 3 straight! Maple Leafs, Flyers, Islanders, and Kings. All hope is not lost! You may be right, but where would we be without a bit of optimism?

Nice to see it won't be a sweep.

Hope springs eternal.

Have you looked at the rosters?

In hockey, Canucks win no matter which team takes home the Cup. 😜

Now on to next season ... Let's. Go. Blues!

1979 Canadians were charitable in letting the Rangers win Game 1 of the finals.
After that it was lights out as Montreal won 4 straight games and their 4th straight Stanley Cup.

No word yet on whether there might had been “public unrest” in Montreal following the Canadien’s victory on Monday. Perhaps 2,000 gendarmes on duty during and after the game might have assured public order?

Doesn’t everybody know about ice hockey? The French spelling for Canadians is Canadiens.

Many of us in the northern hemisphere have just as much trouble with the idioms of those of you in the southern hemisphere, as you obviously do with ours. Here, a “mate” is the one you sleep with! 😁

I live in Tampa, well, St. Petersburg (better than Tampa lol), and I find it humorous that in a state with no ice, we have a great hockey team hah.

In Montreal they love the smell of teargas and burning police cars in the morning...

I had no clue that Montréalais could be so rowdy!!! 😲

I had just ASSumed that Montréal, like the rest of Canada, was super quiet and peaceful…
